The Heart of Willowdale

The center of Willowdale is Mel Lastman Square and the many important organizations, services and businesses surrounding it, such as the Meridian Arts Centre; North York Civic Centre; Empress Walk with its shops and movie theatre; and North York Central Library.

There are also a few community centers like Mitchell Field with its ice rink and outdoor pool, the Douglas Snow Aquatic Centre with its indoor pool or Edithvale with its outdoor park and recreational areas next to it.
